We work with OEMs to reduce cycle time and material cost on their transportation components by engineering specialty brush and sealing products.
Blinder Brushes
Custom designed blinder brushes are used to seal out slotted channels, and open pathways, required for component mobility and adjustability. Fiber Texture, type and density can be adjusted to provide superior sealing without impacting resistance to movement, rotational friction or fit. Secondary assembly and integrated mounting configurations are also available to reduce cost, design complexity and increase throughput.
Common Applications Include:
- Black out brushes for consoles and shifter assemblies.
- Brush grommets for lighting assemblies and firewall cable management.
- Rotational shaft seals.
Sweep Seals for Mass Transit Entryways
Brush seals with a high density monofilament designed to include a soft touch center fin can be used to assist in the reduction of noise and air infiltration at the base of entry doors. The added fin barrier feature also allows for the seal to double as a wiper, and with fins in multiple locations it can increase the efficiency of the seal up to 30% when compared to a non fin seal.
- Integrated mounting tab reduces the need for additional mounting components.
- All plastic design resists corrosion. Profiles
Window Shade Seals
Low friction pile seals allow for smooth actuation of cabin window shades, which also provide a long lasting solution to preventing light leakage, dampening thermal transfer and reducing vibration. Sliding Track Window Seals Low friction track seals are used for passenger and enclosure areas sliding force must be at a minimum. The integrated glide strip provides reduced drag and lower overall operating forces, which allows for smooth movement and a lower coefficient of friction than traditional flocked rubber.

Compression Seals for Panels, Windows and Doors
Custom extruded seals can be designed to prevent against water infiltration around window and door assemblies, reduce vibration and trim out the interface between internal and external body panels, hood cowl assemblies, as well as headlight and taillight lamp assemblies.
